Are You or Your Students Stressed Out? Help Has Arrived!by Janet Zadina on 10/12/17
How about a weekend retreat that not only rejuvenates you, but teaches you strategies for reducing stress in yourself and your students? A decades-long dream of mine has come true in that a colleague and I, Karen Lim, are creating a wonderful learning and stress-reduction retreat for you!
You may know me mostly from my presentations on the brain and learning, but I also give presentations on the brain, stress, learning, and performance both for educators’ personal wellness and for creating a trauma-sensitive classroom.
Even if you are not teaching, the strategies will work for you!
Karen has retired from over 30 years of teaching in developmental education and now is involved in event planning. She has secured some major names in the field of wellness. You will learn proven techniques from them and experience the wonderful effects! Check out the flyer HERE.
Why did we come up with this? As many as 50% of your students may have enough stress to impair learning and you may have enough to impair performance. Teachers are at more risk of dropping out than students! It is important to intervene before stress issues become chronic health issues.
Come and have a peaceful, relaxing, positive interaction with colleagues from around the country in beautiful Encinitas, California! Return to work re-energized with a new toolkit of strategies for enhancing your well-being.
Space is limited so that this experience can be most beneficial to attendees. Please register right away. Let me know if you are attending!
I am so excited to have personal interaction time with you and to participate with you in this amazing experience. Learn more HERE!
